heaven

earlier this morning, like early as in 1am-ish, i got to talk with my brother and finally i got news about my violin. it was returned, however, in its very poor state. i was so horrified to found out what happened to my violin. according to my brother, it was broken. like smashed or somethin. everything was broken. my brother was so angry at me, he thought i left it at some airport or something.

Im quite surprise to find out that the case was broken as well and also the bow. i know some violins really breaks due to extreme heat during shipping, but to learn that the bow was broken was shady. i believe the shipping company has something to do with it.

im having mixed feelings right now. that violin has been with me for more than 10 years. that violin took me to a lot f places.. but now its gone and can no longer be played. the worst thing is, my lolo gave me that violin. and he already passed like a month a go.

benefit concert for typhoon ondoy (ketsana) survivor

last sunday FASO organized a benefit concert for the typhoon survivors in the philippines. many filipino american artists performed and one of them was my singing group sole voce. it was a great experience for me. my first time to witness a fil-am showcase of talents here in LA. it was a low key concert. we're just told to wear jeans and a random top. it was the theme i think.

personally, i was blessed by the event. im glad to be part of it and im happy that in some way i could be of help and of better service even in my littlest ways. I thank God for the success of the concert.
